Overview
This section covers everything related to user authentication and provides guidance and support on how Workplace allows users to access their accounts.
Workplace supports two methods for authentication:
Username and Password
Workplace supports username and password authentication. Passwords are managed and stored by Workplace and are set by users upon verifying their identity during their first access.

Single Sign-On (SSO)
If your company uses an identity provider for other services, it's likely that you can use that for Single Sign-On (SSO) in Workplace. SSO offers the best controls for companies to manage access to Workplace. In this case, instead of a password, authentication credentials will be provided by an SSO solution.
